Interloc provide a complete specification service which includes a site investigation, (if appropriate) specification report writing with project specific detailing clauses as well as technical drawings.

If however you would rather do the specifications yourself please find below examples of some specifications reflecting the most commonly used applications for the Envirotech EVA single ply product. These specifications have been written in a way that allows both specifiers and Interloc approved contractors to delete the irrelevant clauses. If you do not find the relevant specification suited to your project please contact us.

These specifications are generic and do not necessarily reflect the individual aspects and details of the roofing project and therefore Interloc recommend that all specifications are checked and signed off by our technical team.

Specifications 1-4 are examples for refurbishment projects

1- Overlay the existing roof with Envirotech EVA fleece backed membrane incorporating new insulation.

Existing timber or metal deck with existing waterproofing still in place
Vapour control layer
Polyurethane insulation
Envirotech EVA fleece backed waterproofing fully adhered

2- Overlay the existing roof with Envirotech EVA fleece backed membrane with no additional insulation.

For mechanically fixed systems Interloc Building Solutions technical department must be consulted to determine the exact fixing layout and fixing spacings. Factors that will determine this are:
